Claire Mitchell 

Director and CEO

As ECO. Modern Essential CEO and founder, Claire Mitchell holds not only a reputable business portfolio but also a passion for living a healthy, natural and active lifestyle. It is not co-incidence that that is exactly what ECO. Modern essentials is all about – ECO.  is designed for women who are active and healthy and who love to treat their skin with natural, and organic products.

Claire founded ECO. Modern essentials in 2009 on the Gold Coast in Australia  and with a  passion  for growing businesses internationally has launched ECO. Globally into US, UK, Sweden, Denmark,  Canada, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Middle East and now China.

Claire  leads  an enthusiastic team who love being connected to their home turf - the golden East Coast Australian beaches, and are passionate about keeping them clean for everyone now, and into the future. Love of sun, surf and sand balanced with a desire for general wellbeing and balance sees the ECO team  strive for excellence and effectiveness in ECO.  products, and  love using them, too!

Currently a director of Imarda Group, a fast growing technology company with its major operations in Australia, New Zealand and US. Claire has previously held CFO and finance director role for Endace Ltd being part of the cornerstone team, with Selwyn Pellett, to successfully taking the company to listing on Aim, London stock exchange.

Claire is supported by a strong board of directors with a wealth of  international business experience across many sectors.

Selwyn Pellett

Director and Shareholder

Selwyn is an entrepreneur and investor who invests in companies across sectors in Technology and Health & Beauty. He is CEO and Director of Imarda group and was co-founder of Endace and part of the cornerstone team to successfully taking Endace to listing on Aim, London stock exchange with Claire Mitchell. Selwyn was named as a NZ Hi-Tech Hall of Fame member of the NZ hi tech trust in 2009 in recognition of his sustained contribution to growing NZ’s hi-tech sector.

David Ballantyne

Director & Shareholder

David manages his own investment business which covers a diverse range of industries including technology start-ups through to more established businesses such as dairy farming. David has a background in corporate advisory and consulting originally working with Ernst and Young in NZ, USA, UK and Canada before joining Blue Star Group in the 1990’s.

Jacinda Reedy 

Operations Manager

Jacinda previously worked at Cosmetic and Therapeutic goods manufacturer, Cosmetic Manufacturers, for 12 years. During this time she held the positions of Production Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and Operations Manager. Jacinda holds a Diploma of Advanced Applied Science.

Simone Johnson 

National Trainer & Sales

Simone has over 25 years experience in the cosmetics industry. She has held roles as sales representative, account executive & national trainer. She has also worked in the cosmetic medical industry as a beauty therapist & as a makeup artist in the UK.

Jess Abraham 

Marketing & Branding Manager

Jess joined the company as the face of the ECO. Clean Beach Initiative in 2013. Jess went on to be employed by the Natalie Group as their Brand Assistant, before taking over the coordination of marketing and design in early 2015. Jess also has her own travelwear label, Tasi Travels.
